"My family and I just spent a week at the Little Red Lodge. The lodge was just perfect for our family of six. We found the lodge to be very clean and cozy. We had a few ducks visit us one evening to the delight of my children. The locals we met were friendly and welcomed us.
Cool evenings were welcomed after spending hot days at the Kern river. Highly recommend the lodge if you are looking for a great escape for your family. Hope you enloy it as much as we did.

"My husband, our basset hound and I just spent a very enjoyable July 4 week at the Little Red Lodge. The area was exactly as described and more! It was very relaxing and had just about everything you could possibly want or need.
Our only suggestions might be to put up a big ol' hammock out in the trees. Of course if you had done that, we might never have left!

"Absolutely, we did have a lovely time. The Little Red Lodge was all I hoped for and more. I was a little turned around when we arrived and pulled into the driveway of the red cabin across the street. One of the kids had to point out that I was at the wrong red place. My boys loved your movie selection which was a great break from TV. In fact, the movies were so varied that we didn't finish our jigsaw puzzle, but left it behind for someone else to try.
Since we came at the wrong time to find trout in the river, we ate out a few times and found great food in the area. Especially the Greenhorn Grill and the great Italian restaurant in Kernville. We will certainly come back. Thank you so much."
